Come on, guys, I'm not a thief, I'm a bot fighter! There's no crime in that!

Stan appeared in "The Bot-Fighter". He is a man who participated in bot-fights.

Background[]

Stan was an associate of Hiro back when he was a bot-fighter. Stan always marked his creations with a cartoon dog and at some point created a bot called Cerberus Bot, which he used to fight Trina.

He also owned a pawn shop despite his occupation as bot-fighter, and he apparently never knew that bot-fighting was illegal.

History[]

When a crime wave involving fighting bots started in San Fransokyo, Hiro and his friends faced the Cerberus Bot at Joe's Diner. After Hiro destroyed the robot, they went back to Lucky Cat Café and saw in the news that the bot had a cartoon dog imprinted on its foot. Hiro recognized the logo and went to look for Stan along with Go Go and Baymax to ask if he knew anything.

However, the trio arrived just as he was being arrested after being framed for the crime. Stan told the police he was not a criminal, only a bot-fighter, but the police told him that was also illegal. This seemed to surprise Stan as he said that explained many things.

Regardless, Hiro discussed this with his friends because he knew Stan would be unable to pull something like that, and Baymax showed that other people had been arrested for this before, so Hiro set off to find the real person behind it.

Trivia[]

  • Stan appears to like dogs due to his Cerberus Bot being based on a mythological hound, the logo he used was a cartoon dog, and his pawn shop was called "Paws-On".
